Crafternoon

Kids in grades 3-6 will enjoy using a variety of creative techniques and media as part of our monthly first-Friday Crafternoon series. We meet at 4 p.m.  Registration is required for each session and can be completed by clicking on the event in our online calendar or by contacting the Children's Department at 330-683-1065.

We will be exploring the artwork of Patrick Hughes at our March 6 gathering.  He is well-known for his optical and visual illusions. Registration has begun.

Our April Crafternoon will be a three-part series.  We will meet on April 3, 10 & 17.  We will begin by creating a fenced area with styrofoam and popsicle sticks.  We will then paint and create a mural for our popsicle fence.  Registration for the series begins on March 20.

In our May 1 session, we will be making tissue paper water lilies.  Registration begins April 17.

Egg carton animal portraits will be the focus of our June 5 session.  Registration begins May 22.
