We have an opening in our Children's Department for a part-time Reference Technician. The position is for 12-14 hours per week, which will include an evening shift and one Saturday a month.
Job duties will include planning and presenting Story Times and programs for children from ages birth to 5th grade, along with providing reference and readers' advisory service to patrons of all ages.
A minimum of two (2) years of college, bachelor's degree preferred, excellent customer service skills, strong technology skills, experience working with children, with emphasis on leading Story Times, and ability to work a flexible schedule is required.
