Families with students in K-4th grade are invited to the Red Rider Stadium on Thursday, May 14 from 6 - 7:30 p.m. for Reading Under the Lights! Special guests will be local author Allison Rozo and her husband Rafael, authors of "Diego Fuego the Firefighting Dragon." They will be reading their book at 7 p.m. Throughout the evening there will be multiple activities and stations with fun things to do.

All families who register will receive a free copy of the Rozo's book (one per family). Register by clicking on the event on our website calendar or by contacting the Children's Department at 330-683-1065. Registration will close on May 11 but you can still come to the free event if you're not registered. There will be a limited number of books available for those who attend but weren't able to register.

This free event was spearheaded by the Mary Douglas Family, with additional donations from the Hazel Knight & Sarah Henthorne Fund, Orrville Rotary Club, Orrville Exchange Club, Orrville Library Friends, the McFarren family, Orrville Area United Way, and Tuesday Book Club.

The event is hosted in partnership with Orrville City Schools and the Orrville Area United Way.

In the event of inclement weather, Reading Under the Lights will be held in the Bob Knight Gymnasium.
