Winter Reading Programs

Winter is a wonderful time for reading!

Visit the library to stock up on books for cozying up with and also get started with our building-wide Winter Reading Program.

"Warm Up With a Good Book" begins Friday, December 20 and continues through Saturday, February 15.

--Students K-6 can track their reading time (15 minutes a pop) and earn prizes for every 150 minutes of reading completed.

--For every book read or listened to, Young Adults (grades 6-12) can fill out an entry slip to win a bag of fun prizes.

Read as many books and fill out as many tickets as you like. Prizes will be awarded for 2nd and 3rd place also!

--Adults will not only have a chance to win a prize, but they also get to rate the books they read, with 1 being the worst and 5 being the best.

You will fill out a ticket for each book you read and place it in the appropriate rating container.

At the end of the program, we will prepare a list of books and their ratings. All tickets will then be combined to pull the name of our grand prize winner.
