We welcome your donations, whether toward general funding, a memorial donation, contributions to the Legacy Fund, used books, or to our Friends group.
Gifts to the library are true "gifts of knowledge." Giving to the library is an investment in the future of the citizens of Orrville and the Wayne County area. These gifts help the library broaden and enrich our collection and keep our materials current and in good condition. Your donations also help the library implement a variety of special services for adults, children, and young adults. There are many ways to support your library. Following are a few suggestions.
Donations can be made in honor or in memory of someone special to you. We strive to purchase materials that reflect the person you are honoring. Details can be found at the Information Desk.
StoryWalk® is a fun, educational activity that places a children's storybook along a walking trail. Our trail begins just off Ella Street near the dog park. Contact the library if you would like to sponsor a book for the trail.
We also accept donations of used books. If these books cannot be added to the collection, they will be sold in our semi-annual Friends Used Book Sale. The sale takes place in April and October.
Our Friends group provides opportunities for individuals to become involved with the library. Membership levels range from $10 to $50. Ask for a membership form the next time you visit the library!
